Welcome to Rat Tales.

Rat Tales is a collection of short fiction written under the name Ratty. Here you'll find adventures, strange dreams, horror, mysteries, fantasy, humor, reflections on life, and occasionally stories that don't fit neatly into any category at all.

Most stories are designed to be read in a single sitting. They aren't meant to be homework. They aren't meant to be dissected in a classroom. They're simply stories - sometimes funny, sometimes thoughtful, sometimes odd - that exist to entertain for a little while and perhaps leave you with something to think about afterward.

Many of the ideas come from dreams, memories, conversations, observations from everyday life, or questions that refuse to leave my mind. Some stories are entirely fictional. Others are inspired by real experiences. A few live somewhere in between.

I make no claims that these stories are great literature.

They're fast food for the mind.

Read them at your own risk. You might not feel well afterward, but you'll enjoy the taste along the way.
